I personally don't like the idea of completly wrapping exhaust or headers. I've had a few guys I know do it and their headers start developing cracks, not to mention wrapped up turbo housings get even hotter inside driving up oil temps. If you want to just wrap up your exhaust where it is close to the starter that shouldn't be a problem, I just don't recommend you do it to the whole exhaust header. Or better yet just wrap up your starter, I've seen summit sell special covers for starters exactly for that reason, they come in the right size and shape for just that, they aren't that expensive either.
While there is a slight chance they are correct. How come the other thousands of '01 Cobras with exhaust don't have this problem?

eh......it would have to be right on top of it. I also don't like the idea of header wrap, it will void the warranty on exhaust components, and it will fatigue the headers (cause them to crack and fail).
