i was going home sunday night around 11:30 and saw a white ss crashed into some of the banking and whatever else lives on the side of the road off of old bainbridge near fred george...the front was bashed in some and the rear was too, not to mention the side i couldnt see...it was a newer looking one, maybe an early 2000 or so...looked like it had the stock rims on it.
thought i would mention incase anyone new them

Well I don't know the full story on what all happened or how he wrecked it; I hope he's okay; but for the record, I think he's a total moron!!! :evil:This is what happens when a retard gets ahold of a fast car. They can't handle the power and overdo it. :nono: This IDIOT should have to drive a 4 cylinder Datsun pickup for the rest of his life. And I bet he could barely handle that.

I am shocked cuz the time spent on that car is now WORTHLESS.. its like oh well lets get another one and try not to wreck it this time... And by the way i am going to call this kid and get the low down on it.. and hopefully find out why he is such a douche bag.. we should have a ceremony for it. R.I.P. something like that..

I dont mean to be mean but this really upsets me. I dont know what happend or anything. I thought i was selling the car in good company. What I mean is that all things can be preventable. For example he may have had a wreck because of lack of traction (new tires on the car) but anyways higher speeds things can happen faster and at lower speeds things that happen fast maybe could be prevented.. I just have to say that some ppl just dont know how to drive.

well I totaly understand your pain man but if it make it any better it happened at about 35mph which is when a shift to too low of a gear made the tires break free, but he was o.k and was able to hold it strait while the RPMs dropped BUT he hit a patch of dry road that grip and spun him around. And not to joke around too much but it would have been a clean 180 if that tree had just moved over about 2 feet. And even thou it doesn't look like it. there isn't a scratch on the car behind the fenders. The doors and everything back are perfect. anymore question let me know

http://community.webshots.com/photo/390661627/390665980lKVKrB

The ass end is in the air in a tree. And downshofting to a lower gear what gear was it 1st?

yeah i was amazed when we got it down i swear to you the back of the car stopped 5 inches from a tree and the exhaust suspension and everything are perfect. Doors and back are perfect. and he down shift to second instead of forth

Somethin just doesnt add up, going into 2nd at 35 MPH should be around what 3-3500K. I certainly dont think thats enough to break the tires loose.

Downshifting to 2nd and immediately going to WOT would do it  (which I certainly wouldnt doubt... I'd even bet on it). Camaros aren't for drifing. Stick to 240's.

Stick to 240's.yeah i know they have better traction than my rustang, but i can give it 2/5th's throttle around a wet curve in third and spin it around easy......and a camaro's got a slight but more power than my 5.0

but this still doesn't excuse his crappy judgement and driving

Yes chase and travis you are both right but he states that he shifted a gear to low, which means he was going for 4th gear at 35 mph. But even into 2nd at 35 wouldnt break the tires loose wet or dry. I even did that with the 205's and they didnt break loose.

I may have overlooked it somewhere....But...
How old was this guy?

And yes...I know there are some skilled young drivers out there.

Tally TransAm

if you dont rev match when you downshift and the road is wet it can cause the rear tires to slide for a second

which is probably when happened considering the guy probably couldnt drive

i think thats been established in one of the few threads already, the kid isnt a member here so there really isnt a point in bashing 300+ about it, doesnt sound to me like he's making excuses, just relaying the kids story. he probably wouldnt be telling it if someone didnt ask what happened.
