Well got the motor out finally, nice bent piston rod.. Guess I shouldnt drive through any more lakes ey.. I figure everything is out so might as well put some shizit in...
225 cam
PP 5.3's with bigger valves
Mac ML's
LS6 Manifold
Spec 3
Jons DR's on some ZR1's
And a nice Zex 100 shot

So it should be back in comission soon..
Next month it will need a new rear... :roll:

Sucks you bent a rod but it's nice you're abou to build it back better. How much power are the 5.3 heads supposed to add and what do they raise the compression ratio to?

from what i understand, around 1.0 if they're milled, .05 if they're not...this depending on what thickness gasket used i guess.(refering to compression ratio)

Theyll give me around 10 hp off the bat, then theyre ported and polished so we shall see... :shrug:
