Ok what was this about my car backfiring or something? A little more detail then shouting out the window is needed, lol
You sure its just not the almighty power of a v6 with exhaust?

when you shut down you had a huge fire ball shoot out of both your tips, i thought you had broken something, you shut down so violently

Well I have an open exhaust now and definantly a better intake (read: 4" pipe with no filter), and no1 having a horn definantly isnt helping, lol.
Oh and congrats to Alex, he can beat a 2.2liter vtak :owned:

You are running with no air filter? Not a good idea man, maybe at the track a few times, never on the street. You never know what you might suck in, just one grain of sand can really ruin your day. Its not worth the extra 1 or 2 hp. Stick a big k&n on there at least.

Hot rod magazine actually did a test a while back on a carbureted engine and found that the engine actually made more power with a filter on it than it did with one off...

Sorry, i wasnt trying to make fun of you, just yring to see how fast the other car was. Ive never tracked my car but i think it used(w/ good tires and a better tune) to get around a 13-13.5 quarter on average. But that was always with wheelspin pretty bad. I think with different gears and some et streets i would into the 12s pretty low.
