think that powerplant can be crammed into a Ranger??i think it'd be pretty simple. i know for a fact they make off-the-shelf engine mounts and installation kits to put 5.0's in a ranger of your year, so i'd imagine they prolly make the same thing for the 4.6.

Mod motors aren't that easy to get into Rangers I hear. My friend chris (in Iraq right now) has been helping a guy put an L motor in his for a long time, and he said it is a pain in the ass.

Keep in mind that a twin cam 4.6 is like 3 inches wider than a 460. It'll take a lot of cramming, with a BFH.

i was just kidding around when i asked if it would fit, i know its a damn big engine. i just think it would be insane to have a motor with that amount of power in a truck that size, and be able to launch in 4WD. it would make one helluva sleeper

Chris's friends ranger not his and its a navi motor not an L motor. I thought the same, he informed me otherwise.

So... what you're saying is that you want a ride? Not a problem. Just let me get the fucker back from the dealer.

The BFH is my tool of choice for every install....which would explain a few things about the current status of my ride.
