New Cam Only Dyno #s...

Finaly got her tuned...Made 410.9 Rwhp and 389 rwtq...The tune still is not perfect so 415-420 is pretty doable...This was done with a dirty ass K&N in the lid and full exhaust...:twisted:

Well at least someone's cam install went well. I have no idea when I'm going to work up the nerve to attack mine again. Real nice numbers man, I hate you LS1 guys. Oh yeah, I;m not lining up against you at SDR either. :lol:

your bottom end (not that 4.6's have much to begin with) would have been weak as fuck, and lower then stock lift with 230* duration isn't going to accomplish much on the top end with untouched stock heads and compression.

make power? yeah, up top a little. I've talked to 3 people, and seen one car with the cams, and the idle "needs work".


it's a blower cam though. 230* duration. Heck, Ryan's only using a 224* cam. I'm just saying for your combo, you wouldn't have been happy with the low end....that's all.

That would be all well and good if the car were to never ever see another mod, then I'd have to worry about the end result with the current setup. I can deal with what they do n/a until I get some kind of forced induction with what I paid for them. I talked to a lot more than 3 people when I first started thinking about cams then the deal fell in my lap.

Excellent numbers! Word on the rear--time for a built 12 bolt, 9inch, etc.

Greg- The cams will be awesome, don't listen. Cams and gears and you will be flying. Shit, the lopey idle itself would be worth it to me. Look what proper cams did for the 4v in the mach!
