Finally I won a S/S race this year lol. It's kinda funny tho, it took 8 races before me and Darrell (who was #1 in points till this weekend) had actually raced each other in comp. So this puts me 25 points into the lead :) The auto worked nicely when I manually shifted it (working on auto shift points and TC lockups). Pulled the same 60's I was getting with the 5-speed. The ET/MPHs weren't great due to the D/A being 4500-4700'. One of the class regulars put nitrous on his car to run the index! Thats how bad it was.

Your in the 12.5 class right Tony? Im sure your car could run a high 11 if it was setup to go balls out.

that is like saying you dont need sex..... everyone needs it  so you been getting bunch of number two spots? if you had the naws you might have had the #1 spots.

i been getting wooped by a 99up stang at SCCA but im finally on his but pretty good now. ( he is on race tyers and im on worn street tyers) they told me you cant even have the bottle on the grounds ...... oh well there goes that idea lol. so i got a 4th finish my first time out and then last 4 races i placed 2nd.

anyway how many more races you got?

Wow, so you won the event AND you're now in first place for the class? That's incredible. How many more events until the season concludes? What track were you at?

There are 3 races left in the season. Epping, NH, Topeka, KS, and Ennis, TX.

Sweet, you gotta win! I ran Epping back in the spring. Good elevation but the track was a bit slick. Tech was unreal. They sat in the MB tugging on my seatbelts. Beautiful area.

I was going to skip Epping, 22-24 hour tow plus the cost of Diesel ouch!

Yep, it is far. 20 hours for us in the MB driving straight through at 80-85mph. So you can skip a race and still win the points race?

It comes down to the point total, unless theres a tie. Then its who has won the most races.

That's awesome Tony! How many people are competing in that class?

There have been 7-10 cars at each event. But only me and Darrell have made about every one. So we have a 160 point lead on the 3rd place person. You get 55 points for qualifing and 10 points for each round you go. I'm at 630 points now.

Your idiocy abounds. Its an index class and Tony has been on the number all season. Going faster doesn't help you win, it help the other guy push you right out the back door. Pay attention.

Nice win, Tony. I saw it on the other web site. Also with the DA as high as it is at Bristol, we (N/A) typical run .15-.2 seconds slower than any other track. That's why Jeremy's run of 10.51 in our clas is so unreal.

Yeah, I think when Jeremy ran that 9.51 tho, it was after the rain. The temp drop'd from 94.9 to 75 within 20 mins.

I saw Jeremy's 9.51, called the win right after the board lit up.
