Last night I am at the light and a modded silver WRX pulls up on one side and an older Nissan 240 SX pulls on the other side. They both start revving and shit. I can hear the turbo on the WRX. The guy just came from the track because he still had shoe polish on the windows. I ask him what it ran and he said 9.18 in the 1/8th. I say does it hook up good? he says hell yeah...awd.
so the light turns and i don't know if he wasn't paying attention or what but i fucking destroyed his ass. the 240 stayed with me through 1st but when i shifted to 2nd i started walking his ass too. I shut it down at like 70mph because we were on Dodge St. which is the equivalent of racing down Monroe or tennessee st.
anyway at the next light they wanted to go again but i said no so they raced each other and sure enough a cop was in the turn lane going the other way so he whips his car around and turns on his lights to go catch them. the WRX pulls off into a dark parking lot and the cop didnt even see him. The 240 kept going and he was so far ahead that the cop never found him.
so i guess i dodged a bullet last night. LOL
