peace out bro--i never had any problems with you at all and always knew you were too smart about engines for your own good.

good luck--hopefully you'll be building engines when i'm ready to put one together. don't get yourself blown up or anything.

Chris, since youve moved, I havent seen much of you on the boards which is too bad. I dont have time to go up to many of the Ls1tech meets although Im not sure you would have been there anyways, haha. I know youve got to do what youve got to do but SHIT, Id find another way than the army...but thats just me. Best of luck to you while your in the service, man. If you need anyone to test out any of those motor parts while youre gone, just lemme know.

It's good to hear that you are trying to get stuff straightened out, and best of luck in the Army man! And I can't thank you enough for hooking me up on those springs, that was a HUGE help. Keep us posted on your Army situation, and at least if you go to Iraq, when you get back you'll have some serious cash to finish off that car .

Well... theres a little more to it then just what I posted but I need to get away from a lot of things. Still planning on going to SAM once I'm out. You fellas in town better watch yourself and take care of Tasha, you know who you are. :secret: She's a good girl, and deserves more then she gets a lot of the time.

Chris,

Nothing wrong turning to the military to get your head together. I don't regret the time that I spent in the Navy and met some of the best friends that I've probably ever had. Just keep your ears open and listen. Military careers tend to suck at first, but it gets better. Just stay low at first and kind of try and "melt into the woodwork", especially in boot camp. Best bet is to make it hard for your DI to remember your name. After camp, once you're in training it gets easier and you get more freedom. Once you're with your unit it pretty much becomes like any other job, other than the fact that you get paid to protect your country.

You haven't made the easiest choice here, but sometimes the easiest isn't the best.

Good luck,

Mark.
