I just heard that if new orleans gets fucked up bad, gas could spike as much as a dollar a gallon in the entire southeast.

The storm is now a cat5 and headed strait for NO, which is like 10 feet below sea level, people are pretty sure that by tommarow the city will be under water, sewage will overlfow, and something about fireants.

Hopefully everyone gets out of New Orleans. I was there this summer, and I'm glad I got a souverneir cup, because it looks like I may not get to go back for a very long time.

Time to go get some gas....

BP on Monroe and Tennessee has 7 cents off premium on wed. saturday and sunday. So if anyone who uses real gas needs some you can head up there.

Huh ? I think it's got a lot more to do with the oil rigs in the Gulf shutting down and being evacuated than with N.O. getting hit. Did someone put you in a bathtub full of ice and steal your kidneys ?

Oil crude futures reached another record high during early Monday trading. Up almost $5.00., to I believe $70.86 a barrel. This just from the anticipated hit in production that the hurricane is causing.

Hawaii has instituted a price cap on Regular gas, but it's going to bite them in the ass because the suppliers will just hold back on the supply of gas when their margin gets smaller. Governmental control on prices wreaks havoc on the economy, that's what the damn democrats don't understand.

Me and my boys had my best friends bachelor party in New Orleans this last weekend. We didnt leave until 10am yesterday and it took 13 hours to make the trip back just to Panama City. Atleast we can say we were some of the very last to party on Bourbon Street for a very loooong time. I pray for all the folks in New Orleans but damn those streets needed a thorough cleaning, lol.

Seminiole Petro on Pensacola went from 2.58 to 2.75 (not sure about other stations, that's the only one I use). What's considered price gouging?

they unfortunately can jack the price like that (oil prices up gas prices up yadda yadda)...the place i went to in Jax for a few months was $2.16/gallon even when others were $2.26-2.36/gallon and one day boom they hit $2.50 the next day $2.55....hell some guys were at $2.49-$2.59 when others were at $2.20 still out there and they cant do shit (unfortunately)

Isnt is grand that 9 refineys on the Miss Delta equates to 10% of total US capacity being GONE. The flyingJ at theQuincy exit jumped 10cents just after I filled up. The GT is staying in the garage for a while.

Prices haven't really gone up here in Gainesville. Maybe like 2 cent a gallon. I hope I don't eat my words later.

W prolly will dump out some crude from the SPR. Problem is A: dont have the capacity to refine it, B: itd be a "loan" that the oil companys will have to repay later.

My mom said NO got declared an uninhabitable city, and no one is allowed back in for like 90 days or something. It's flooded, and every service is down, from power to sewage.

well, they have no balls. so they most of the time shoot around corners or from behind something without looking. or they just shoot from the fucking hip like rambo, and it dosnt help they think they have to have their ak on full auto. fucking tards! that and their ammo isnt worth a fuck. two good friends got shot while i was over, one in the neck and other in the chest. had to be point blank and the guy who got shot in the chest took it like a man and put 3 in the back of the bitches head. needless to say, the round was point blank and didnt pass through our vietnam flack vest we had at the time. went just under it and slid down his chest just to draw some blood and leave one hell of a bruise.

All I can say is the prices here are crazy. I was riding around today to check on several jobs and on the East side at the Walmart gas was $2.62. Over by Godby high school, the BP was $2.88 and the Chevron across the street was $2.61. I decided to try Georgia and the price at the Chevon was $2.80 and the Shell up the road was $2.68. The cheapest price I found was at the station up by Bradfordville it was $2.59 but had just run out. I can understand going up but some werer the same and some were up big time. :wtf:
