I forgot who it was, but there use to be a judge on TV that done that. Make kids go in front of the stores they stole from and hold up signs, and stuff like that. The humiliation factor sometimes works better than sticking them in a cell to become a better criminal.

That's great, I gotta remember the sign thing. I don't ever remember my dad hitting or anything, but he would always say "I'M GONNA BEAT YOU, BOY!!!" And to this day, when he says that, I still believe him (I'm 23, and 4" taller than him).

A few years ago my brother called him out on it while in the car. My dad pulled over and chased him all over and tackled him. It was awesome.

I prefer the guys theory/sign that said..."you loot, i shoot". Comon folks lets give mother nature and natural selection a hand and get rid of the ass holes who would steal peoples last possesions only because they were too retarded to leave even when the manditory evac was sounded.

Im also not talking about the poor and unfortunate that were just trying to feed them selves but the idiots that were stealing jewlry and a whole trashcanful of stuff that is not emergency related or life sustaining. Well it didn't have the pointed ends sticking out, she only used the flat side, didn't want to draw blood. She was pretty smart. You could still feel the extra sting in the middle from the top of the staple.
