For all you motor sport documentary people this is a inexpensive device that will enhance the quality of you vide. I ordered one today can’t wait to give it a test run on my truck.

I can see a use for both, you can get some excellent footage with the two combined.

I saw Derek's stickypod at autocross, that thing rocks.

The sticky pod is cool, but sometimes offers a bit of a shaky shot...and it's kinda scary having an expensive camera hanging outside of the car with no protection. But I sold the sticky pod and bought the autoxcam and was much more pleased with it. It has an extremely steady shot, and it is water proof and has a protective case around the mini-camera that sits outside of the car as well.

i got a stickypod for autocross and as long as i re-clean the surface and re-apply the stickypod b4 each run i feel confident it'll hold.

(in this heat i don't leave it on all day for the runs.)

Link to your cam? I've been looking everywhere for a mount to use on my rollbar but can't find one that fits. My rollbar is VERY close to the roof and sides leaving VERY little room. I've got a plug in camera that works with a camcorder but you can't adjust the WB. On a bright day, they expose for the interior of the car thus washing out the outside of the vehicle.
