dual cutouts in the ypipe right after the headers
yes or no?
(after the rear end i wont be doing many more mods for a while so i figure this will be good until i get LT's and duals in the distant future)

I say give it A try. Might kill some low end, but it would sound good!

Like Todd said, it will kill a lil lowend torque which should make it easier to hook but should really open you up on the top end, especially with that cam. Do it!!!!

On the street you drive torque. Will help with the trap and at the track. You have to decide what you like better. I would go with a single cut-out.

why not an electric cutout that you can change at the flip of a switch?? its more expensive but you can change it whenever you want.

....a good point was made that unless you are making serious power just go with one cutout...will save you money, only to sacrifice a minimal gain

the reason im thinking about doing it is becasue i could problem get it done at miami muffler for like 50 bucks
im not getting electric cutouts because im gonna scrap the whole exhuast next year

well that idea got killed really fast
went down to miami muffler and turns out they dont stock cutouts so i would have to buy them and take them there to get welded
hell its only two more bolts to drop the ypipe than to open the cutouts

Something I really didnt think about is your exhaust with its mandrel bends and such flows pretty damn great. Im not sure how much you would get from the cutouts.

Yeah, you will probably lose more power than you gain.
