i was on the turnpike yesterday evening, and the weather was absolutely horrible, as you all probably know.
so, i was heading southbound and doing about 65 mph cuz the roads were pretty wet and it was on and off raining......2 cars from the north bound side slide off the road, go into spins and slide right through the grass median seperating the north and south lanes, and pop onto my side. :-o
i was in the left lane, and when i saw the first car i was just like "holy shit" and watched him come close but knew he wouldn't hit me. Then right after, the second car pops onto my lane and is heading right fucking after me. I hit the brakes but realized there was no way i could stop in time, so i had to punch the gas and turn the wheel hard right and try to get by him. The car held the turn pretty well, but i was getting ready for him to swipe me. Talk about a feeling of relief when you get by and realize you didn't get hit.
It was almost like right out of that "Days of Thunder" movie. The closing speed was easily 100 mph, so if i did get hit it would have been nasty. Head on i woulda been killed, and if he clipped me i don't know where my car woulda ended up. LOL
