yeah, i'm asking the same thing. I think his car is a 93 cobra, but the air quality is bad in Bristol, and a "stock" car trapping that high smells fishy.

Well we know all too well how they allow certain people to slip through the cracks. Who does that guy know?

I am admitting that i know nothing of the rules but can you explain why Tony lost when he had a faster time?

I'm BACK!!! :)

Daniel has a '95 Cobra...his #s don't add up at all. But Tech would never really look closely at his car. And he parked out in BFE where tech couldn't find him.

I was having trouble with R/Ts all weekend, I've never ran a track where I had to hold the car in the staging lights with the clutch or it would roll backwards outta the lights....

The final timeslip breaks down like this:

r/t .364 .289
60' 1.990 2.101
330 5.632 5.811
1/8 8.687 8.838
MPH 80.24 80.09
1000 11.327 11.452
1/4 13.560 13.635
MPH 100.96 105.32

Margin of Victory .0009

Close as hell, he treed me and won. What doesn't add up is the 25 mph gain 1/8 to 1/4 for him. N/A cars do not pick up 25 mph 1/8 to 1/4. N/A is normally 20-22 mph. Power Adder is 23-26+ mph. IF (and I say if, cause no one teched the car close enough to find the bottle) he had the bottle, he was sprayin like a 50 shot after the 1/8 mile. He claims the car weighed 3285# without him (so around 3430-3450 with him, skinny guy). And claimed to only dyno 267 rwhp 302 tq. Go figure wtf 105.32 came from in that shitty air. Btw, the air clacs to 4000-4200' adjusted altitude. Which shows in my 13.56@101 best for the weekend, 2 tenths slow and 2 mph slow. His best MPH was105.92!!! thats like 107.92 at Gainesville......it don't add up....

Find him and kill him. Maybe he had one of those little motorcycle nitrous bottles.

well, his weight doesn't seem right either. The SN95 is the heaviest fucking pig of all, the 94-95 versions that is. Iron block, IRON heads, etc...

and yeah, it definitely smells like unfair play. Stock cars with bolt-ons and street tires don't trap 105, especially in that shitty ass weather.

95 Cobra are rated at 240hp and Tony has 260 to the tires.
he should be trapping less than you unless.....
331 stroker
ported heads
ported Cobra intake
and all the usually bolt-ons
