Checked the obvious crap, the oil filter is tight and dry, the drain plug is tight and dry, I guess I get to check the fun stuff now... WOOHOOO!!!

lol. I'm pretty sure if the oil is leaking as bad as you say it is coming from a seal or the OPS(oil pressure sensor). I get a lot of GM vechiles new and old that have OPS leaks.

Yeah, my truck did both of those. Rear main SUCKS. The OPS isn't bad... just pull it out and teflon tape that sucka' back up. Unless its the actual sender itself leaking and not the junction into the block. They aren't expesive though, at least for mine.

Teflon thread sealer tape works miracles. That's what I used to stop the leak in my head when the dumbass machinist drilled through the coolant lines.
