What's crackin'. I'm at Ft. Rucker, AL and it seems this is the closest car type group I can find to my location. Im in the Army and I fly helicopters. Pretty sweet. I am from Arizona by they way.
My car hmm, well its got a whole gang of stuff done to it all by me. Its turbocharged has a six-speed, uhh and I am running 315s out back. I still cant keep the tires on the ground. Blast to drive though.
Where's all the tracks?

Welcome, the closest track to you I think is Dothan(1/8th), Fri. nite t&t, Sat. bracket racing. Breakaway(1/8th) in Fountain has Sat. t&t 10-2 central time, brackets 2:30-till. Sunday Funday every 2&4th Sun.

I used to in AZ. I found the Wiregrass SCCA website but they are horrible about updating it. So, I don't find out about the events till they already have happened.

I'll have to check that out one of these nights. Never raced 1/8th before. Hmm alot would have to do with the launch methinks and I am not so good with that.

Not until I finish flight school unfortunately. Army has theses silly things called "rules" and I would be punished rather severely. Though at the end I will be a commercially rated helicopter pilot. The other problem is that I want to jump too(another activity forbidden to flight school students).

Wiregrass region in Dothan runs every 2nd Sunday of the month. Dixie region in Bainbridge runs every 1st Sunday of the month. I do both, but prefer Dothans surface over Dixies. If you every want to head out with some of us PM me.
