I saw some of the trucks being towed down I-10, I'm guessing it was afterwards considering they were covered in mud.

I busted the front axle (again..big surprise)
I sheard the threads out of the stearing gear box so it is only being held on by the bottom 2 bolts now.
The tcase is leaking like a mofo now. (it needed rebuilding anyway)
I broke some more welds in the bed, i think, or bent the frame..i dont give a shit either way.
When i cranked it up to unload last night for a few seconds i swore it felt like the crank was rattling around in the block. Im not 100% sure it was that but something was moving around in there.

..i also bent my floor jack. That pisses me off right there!

In contrast if you ran 35" like me you could drive it there, beat on it mercilessly and drive home. only carnage was a bent fender where the tire ate it.

I might as well..what is a 39.5 to a 35 when the trucks going by me are on 60 inch tractor tires.

..which fender? I didnt even notice it so it must not have been too bad.

tire ate some of the passenger fender. not very visible and easy to fix. I'm gonna relocate the spring perches so that aint a problem... 38's in the future too. couldn't have as much fun as I'd like with the 35's. still it did very well for the small tires. lol.

You wont be happy with just the 38's.
Well, i take that back. In the woods you will love them but if you run it off into a pond again you will want tractor tires.
(i do)

..have you thought about taller springs?

If I wanted to be "Mr. Mud Bog" some rockwells would find a home under the jimmy. for the trail 38's will be enought without it getting tooo large. have a new set of 6" skyjackers waiting for me to get the time :D
