can you mount that any lower? you can see the upper tank on top, and all you can see is the lower tank on the bottom!!

No, this is a man-sized intercooler. Look at the clearance... if I lower it any more, it will be lower than the lowest point on the car, and it will scrape.

I'm thinking about painting the top and bottom of the intercooler flat black... opinions?

personally i think the flat black intercooler would look fucking amazing

just make sure if you do paint it you do it right so it last

either way man that bumper looks fucking awesome

How'd you get the hood to line up with the 03 bumper? Everyone else I've seen with either the 03 bumper or hood with the GT pieces don't line up and have a gap.

instead of painting the entire IC, i suggest spray painting around a stencil and have like "ATI Procharger" in black on that bottom tank.

Kinda like you see some of the supra's with FMIC's and "greddy" or "HKS"
same theory.

It was pretty simple... you just drill new mounting holes where the bumper attaches to the left and right of the grille area... you move the holes about 1/2" back, and use the normal mounting holes in the bumper. It's still a tight fit though, but a lot better than some I've seen who just used the original holes.

change the mounting points of that intercooler to the sides... so then you wont have the bolts on the bottom. thatll give you at least another quarter to a half an inch to lower it.

otherwise, get a morpheus/spearco 850HP intercooler with tanks on the sides.

but, for god's sake, get the fins in that opening!!!
