my tech is getting a lean code and at idle only getting 22psi of fuel pressure. filter and pump have been replaced recently. what other things could be causing this?? it pings on hard acceleration :sstony:

fuel pressure regulator?
if the pump and filter have been changed and are good, that would be my next guess. only other thing i could think of is that the fuel pump relay is going and its not giving enough power to the pump.

when mine was that low it was a charging issue, i guess my bad battery or alternator didnt have enough juice to push the pump. i know its far fetched on your car being you drive it everyday though. i'd start with teh regulator as well.
edit: welcome to my world. 44psi here, but ill turn my Aeromotive AFPR up to 55 hopefully.

How long ago was the pump replaced and who replaced it? Maybe something got in there and its clogging up the filter sock.

shit in your tank clogging the sock at the base of the fuel pump would be my guess. When the pump is off the crap in the tank isn't collected there so replacing the pump wouldn't have made a diffrence it would still clog or restrict fuel flow
