Florida Powertrains Website (www.floridapowertrain.com) Fuck Fleet supply they have fucked up numerous driveshafts I have sent to them...I now ship my drive shafts to Jacksonville to Florida Powertrain they have high speed balancing and its worth the little extra money in shipping.. Talk to Tim.. Do not use Wayne.

I dont think I'd let fleet do any driveshaft stuff unless I was desperate.

..or axle joints*.
Like i said, I have yet to have a problem with them but many other people swear by FPT..so..?
*The axle shafts might have been fubared before he put the joints in so it might not had been 100% there fault.

If they were fubar, then they should have told you. you know it aint hard to replace the ujoint in your axle. I'd do it myself and tack weld them in... let me know if you need a weldor ;)

I'll bring the beer.
I should have time sunday to pull the front apart (again..for like the 324353th time) and see what all was fawked.
Im buying a set of axles from XS CASH Monday for donor parts so i will bring the new shafts and go get ANOTHER Dana joint so...whenever you want to weld them.
..not to rush you or anything but could you do it before feburary?

dont spend the cash on spicer parts. it's a 44 and you have 40's so it WILL break again... just a matter of time  just holler when you ready...

Sounds like its time to upgrade to a Dana 60 Cheaper then fixing a 44 all the time.

toploaders are neat but put a 60 next to a 44 and you'll see why you want a 60. cheaper in the long run unless you want to lift it to the sky and go tractor tire.

I posted this on another sight:

Think of it this way:
My truck is trailered only so i dont have to worry about disk brakes.
A set GM 2.5 ton running gear can be picked up for $300 to $500 depending on condition. What is the going price on D60's? A grand for a decent one?
Then you have to re-gear anyway. 2.5 ton comes with 6.72 gear. That is a good ratio for a 46/11.2/20.1 inch tractor tire. Even with a 60 i can only go 5.13 cause of that $*@#% 14 bolt i have.
If im going to have custom rims made then what is the dif telling them to make it 10 lug instead of 8?
If im gona go heavy..im gona go all out.
I like the 46/11.2 like Brent (i fogort his last name again) is running. With an S10 body i wouldnt need as much lift to clear something that small so face loaders would still work for me.
If i was going to run 40 inches of lift then i would go with the top loaders.
..btw, sorry for the hijack.
