I'm trying to get some feedback on the GM 2 liter ecotec engine. The specific one I'm looking at for a friend is supercharged and puts out 300hp/250ft/lbs. Not sure about reliability or modability.

i've seen some pretty impresive numbers from them. alot of professional import racers are beginning to use them.

Their pretty badass, but the more power they make the less reliable they are. Something that appeals is that gm racing has all the parts to make as much power as you want. Up to 1,000whp. What they don't tell you though is that the 1,000whp build has a life expectancy of 50 miles.

I make the rocker arm for that motor. It's no longer the one they show on the 600+ hp motor, that one is stamped out by Sandco. It's a Formed Finger now by Timken, much stronger and used while producing 1000+.
