i need this. its from a set or 3:42 gears. someone with an fbody must have it.

Man, I had a set of used 3.42's a month ago that I would have given you but they are now in my buddies Z28. Sorry man.

I know of a set of brand new 3.73's for sale with the install kit for $255 if that helps at all. I doubt it will help but its worth a try.

i want to stick with the 3:42s in the 7.5 rearend. i do'nt want any more pressure than necessary on that little toothpick

k, Im sure you are but you should check around on CZ28.com and LS1.com and all of those sites. You should be able to score a killer deal and a pretty good set.

well, the one you see is from a 2001 ws6, but i bent the thread a little bit trying to get it out. i might be able to take a die to it and fix it. thats what i'm gonna try to do. but i want to go ahead and find another one just in case.

You could call Paul or Richard at Nationwide Transmission on Hwy27 N( N. Monroe St past Lake Jackson). They always have a couple of extra gear sets sitting around.

Good point but arent they normally for Ford 8.8's, not GM's puney lil 7.5?
