Just so I'd never had to hear another ad, saying, bumper sticker/windshield banner, or what-the-fuck-ever saying "YEAH IT'S GOT A HEMI." (incorrect use of IT'S on purpose, because that's how most of the windshield banners are spelled)

"It's" got a Hemi? No shit? Guess what: NOBODY FUCKING CARES. It isn't some magical design that makes it any better than any other newly engineered engine or catch phrase. It doesn't make more power per ID or Litre than the others in the same class. In fact, Dodge isn't the only one with Hemispherical combustion chambers anymore. But wait, you didn't even know that's what it stood for back in the day, so that doesn't really matter now does it.

In closing, I would give both nuts if I could rid the world of the new HEMI craze (no disrespect to the original HEMI design and campaign, just the new) and all the bullshit scams and advertising along with it.

426 hemi wan't the only legendary hemi. what about the 331? first engine to make 300 hp. the 354 hemi, or 392 hemi with 375 hp. there were like 2 million hemis back then too. they were all different though. every carmaker in the chrysler lineup had some sort of hemi as an option.
