Which are better boxed or tubular? And are adjustable better than non adjustable?

I have B&M tubular control arms and since I am lowered I got some relocation brackets as well. Im pretty sure that the boxed are a lil stiffer but I dont know how much difference there really is between the two. As far as ajustable or not, I think the non-adjustable should be fine, they are working for me fine.

boxed is better in my opinion, but they are heavier.. tubular is just fine... unless you are running 10s soon, I was always told to stay away form the adjustable... cant give you a reason on that one.. I have the BMR tubular non-adjustable...

Dunno if its that different on a f-body, but 90% of the stangs 10s and faster run tubular, most adjustable. Chris Little's Drag Radial car (8.6x@15x) uses tubular/adjustable, Brad Brand's Street Outlaw car (7.x@204) uses the tubular/adjustables. Etc.

This has to be our most commonly asked question. We personally feel that either design is equally as strong for the load that the F-body chassis places on them. Because the F-body uses a control arm/torque-arm combination, very little lateral loading is placed on the control arms themselves. The torque-arm takes the lateral loading while the control arms are subjected mainly to a "compression" loading as the rear tries to push them forward into the chassis under acceleration. While an excessive lateral load would dictate the use of stronger(laterally) rectangular tubing, compression loading is much easier to handle and round tubing(of appropriate size)is more than sufficient. Bottom line: if you are an overkill nut and are willing to spend a little more then go with the boxed design, otherwise save a little money and get the tubular arms.

they are the same
i have boxed, only because i got a killer deal on them used
if you a set with rod ends, get a good company like lg motorsports or madman or else they will make all kinds of noises

Well, I would just like to clear up something that Alen pointed out to me. Im an idiot and have BMR LCA's. DOH!!!:lol:
