there is gas, and it doesnt look like anything is kinked because all i did was change tire, didnt mess with anything with the tank

how long until gas goes bad

I wouldnt think the gas went bad in 3 months. Have you ever run it out of gas? The lines might be clogged. Also, is the spark plug good and/or getting spark?

getting spark, checked that

its definately a fuel problem

might have to just pull the tank and lines and make sure nothing is clogged up

its always been a bitch to start after it has sat for a while, but never this bad

i work for a landscaping company and we have this problem with equipment if its been sitting for a while. since it'll start with the starter fluid, more than likely you have water in your gas tank. probably came from condensation from sitting for so long. you can either empty it out, or go get a bottle of that stuff you put in your tank to get rid of water. try that. if it doesn't work after the water is out, then i don't have a clue.

dump the tank and try some fresh gas. Works wonders.

pretty sure it was water in the tank

i changed out the gas and it still wouldnt start at all so i got kinda frustrated and kicked it over and went inside

like 3 hours later i went back out in the garage and tried to start it for the fuck of it and it let out a little "put put put" so i was like uh oh, might start

started right up next shot and runs great

now im in saving gas mode
