when i turn to the far right i get some unusual almost rubbing sound out of my suspension. i wanna say its the tire rubbing against the fender lining, but are there any other explanations?

i think it started after that drift event where i got spun into the dirt but i could be wrong.

like its between a squeaking and a rubbing sound.

Any unsual wear on that tire?

This might be a dumb Q but are you sure it is coming from the front? IE are you just hearing it or feeling it thru the stearing wheel?

maybe its the OVERLY MASSIVE TIRES

Is it while turning at any speed, or only when the suspension is compressed? I have that same problem, due to the OVERLY MASSIVE TIRES thing.

another good question is how do you do it with a huge lack of power and torque?

i mean i can drift the hell out of some corners(and do so often), but a sustained drift takes acutally power and a wide powerband

a drift takes a fast entrance speed. you don't need alot of power. and you can drift with a one wheel wonder, it's ghey though. one tire is just going along for the ride.

I'm not much for drifting, but ask yourself this.

Whats the point of anything automotive?
Road racing?
Drag racing?
Autocross?
Street racing?
Loud stereos?
Big wheels?

etc etc

in all of those except big wheels there is a clear winner in the end. there is no winner in drifting....

Well I am in no way defending drifting but the clear winner comes just as in things like skateboard competitions, judging. I will admit to watching it on Tech TV, its kind of impressive for about 1.5 runs. Then its basiclly the same thing over and over, wow who cares, theres not really much room for variation or taking it to the next level. It's only slightly less laughable than trying to turn a burnout contest into a form of racing or sport. But hey its part of the "import lifestlye" yo and I guess I'm just not cool enough to be part of that.

Best thing to do is take off the wheel and see where its rubbing. My fronts were rubbing when i lowered my car alot, i just pushed the fenderlinning back some more. If its the inner fender linning thing, and its been going on for a while, you will have a good wear spot where its hitting. Just take a look, thats the easiest way to find out.
