are not as easy to install as i thought. My water temp. has 5 wires and the boost has 2 and a small hose. WTF If anyone could give me any help on finding the ingition wire and also the headlight wire it would be appreciated.

Werd. I can see one power, one ground, one sending unit wire, and one illumination wire. What is the fifth? Maybe not the ignition wire, but a "hot" wire when the key is in the on position.
Why are you putting a boost gauge in? You deserve a ho-smack for not knowing what the line is in the back of it btw.

I know what the hose is for, i was just complaining about how many wires there were. I need to find the ingition wire so the gauges will only have power when the car is on. I guess any wire that is only hot when the car is on will do. And as far as why do i need a boost gauge, well theres only one reason to get a boost gauge.

I only have 2 choices, either ATI or Vortech, and the ATI is cheaper

you could run the power wire for the boost gauge onto the same switch that turns on your dash lights.Just a idea.

no because i would only have power if the lights were on
The boost gauge is mechanical, it only needs power for the backlight... and I would assume you'd only need the backlight if it was dark enough out to have your fogs and/or headlights on.
