Cutting out cat this week hopefully...

I am going to rent a pipe cutter from AutoZone and see if I can get a exhaust shop to cut me a section of pipe to clamp in the cats place. Am I going to get a rediculously huge exhaust leak or should I be ok?

The reason I want to clamp it in is because I know it is going to be to loud for not only me but everyone else. That way I can have another cat welded in its place when I get tired of my ears ringing everytime I get out of my car.

We'll see but if its too loud, theres another cat going back on. If it sounds good w/out a cat, Ill have Todd weld it up on day when we both have time.

Umm, I have MAC headers and a ORY. I had a cat(single cat, it only came with one) welded in for emissions purposes and now that I have no emmisions, Im gonna try it without it.

Back to the question, with clamps, am I going to be able to get that pipe snug enough where it doesnt leak?

i think the dynomouth is what makes it so damn loud bo. i was going the other way when you were leavin OG saturday and heard you deccelerate...but i was about 200 feet behind you in all kinds of loud traffic(and sorry ass drivers) and still heard it very very clear...its the dynomouth...not your cat, thats so loud

Yea but the cat is the only reason why it is as "quiet"(and I use that term loosley) as it is. Plus, its gonna be raspy as hell. Ill try to get it done tomorrow so I can have it for you guys on Tuesday.
