when i got the car it had horrid purple totally bubbled tint and was hanging over the top of the glass on the driver side so i finally bit the bullet and dropped $250 to get it stripped and retinted (stupid ass rear window defroster lines). had it redone with 5% all the way around and love it (my parents house at home really provides a far better backdrop than the front of my apartment complex here im noticing too)

got it done at quality tint down in fort myers..they do amazing work

as for seeing out at night its not too bad really..i had to borrow my bosses supercrew one of the nights i was home and that thing is horrid at night...all the windows had 5% put down overtop of the factory, rear window getting 2 layers of 5% overtop of the factory tint- i couldn't see a damn thing out the back window

edit: ^ not v6, just has the 35th aniv side badges that look like the v6 badges

V6? anything on it? Looks B-A. I shorted it!
I thought the same thing, it needs a GT scoop.

And you might wanna change out the Kuhmos. There looking a lil bald. May i suggest the Pirelli P6. They work great for my honda, they grip like fat chick holding a chocolate chip cookie. They allowed my to take a 20 mph curve at 65 while evading some jagoff with road rage but thats another story
who has kuhmos?

From what I have been told, not sure if it is true, but they got rid of the GT scoop for all 04s. The hoold on the v6 04 looked alot better. Im not sure if the scoop was a working ram air but what i dug up for factory 0-60 and 1/4 times the 04 is considerably slower that the 99-03. The website I was on put it at 0-60 in 6.1 which is what our Chevy Supercharged Cobalt is running. If Ford eliminated a working ram air on an ANIIVERSARY edition they really dropped the ball.
no newer mustang has functional hood scoop except for the mach 1...and the 04s are not slower..they're the same

5% kicks ass. Ive had it for a year now. Got two tickets though. One was add on to speeding. The second one was from Florida Highway Patrol. They don't like my headlight and taillight blackouts so the cop pulled me over and gave me a ticket for the tint.

My friend owns a mobile window tinting business and only charges like $150 for 5%. You might have gotten charged a little to much.

$150 is still crazy for tint, course the last car I had tinted was back in 1994. It was only $50-60 then with a life time warrenty.

just doing the tint would have only been about 125...it was stripping the old tint that really cost me-two old layers of cheap tint, add in the rear window defroster lines (cant be razor scraped like other windows) and it gets time consuming...all in all i dont think it was too bad, def. damn good work

and i have a lifetime waranty on it also
