some people from Dixie are talking to them about events there. Some sections of the track are wide enough and built to withstand cars. The owners appear to be receptive but probably nothing will happen this year.

You mean drive in circles?
And yeah, I might try and get out there if they do some autocross events.

29 feet wide doesn't provide for wheel to wheel passing in a car, but it does allow for time trials. I'd use it for testing to dial the car in and may get a kart.

is that the occasion where you were dead hooking and thus just driving around the track?

Aaron at SGC is getting his karts ready, and another friend of ours has two of them. I think a Kart purchase will be in the near future. I just want to go two or three times to make sure it will be worth the $$ for the kart.

I agree. We need to get a track day once it's open where we get some class time and rent their carts.

I've been interested in trying out some cart classes since I figured out how expensive it is to take a driving school with full size cars.

I said the truck would drift better...not ME...
G80>Open

^ Thats what I was looking at also. 10 bucks for the day then 25 for 10 minutes of track time. I say we go to Fun Station for Go Karts.

I don't see going 90+MPH at funstation.

Nor do I see 1.1 miles worth of track at Funstation. Seems comparing funstation to this place is like comparing rice vs a domestic at a drag strip. :wicked:
