ok, back to this thread to the ones who didn't get to read.
for the last few months my state job has really been bad. so i've been half-ass looking for another job.
so i went to this Veterinary office and they said they are looking for a Lead Lab Technician position. so since i've had 2 Veterinary jobs in the past, my resume impressed them and they hired me yesterday. so I start that job on Monday.
So I was thinkin... what's the point in going back into a job i hate for just a few days? so since i took Monday off (hurt back) and i didn't even call in Tuesday (about the 6th time i've not gone in w/o calling) I decided today was the day.
So i got my letter of resignation ready and went in about 7am this morning (when i knew no one would be there)
I went in, got all my personal shit, put my letter on my bosses desk and hauled AZZ!!!
that job was about to be the death of me, it drag's you down mentally cause there is never anything to do.
plus after them promising me raises after raises and them never coming through, i figured this way was the only way i could get back at them.
it feels pretty damn good though to have the week off!
