Got a call today from my roommate back at tally. The big brown truck came a few days ago with my TC. I got him to open up the outter wrapping tonight and much to my displeasure they gave me a 3000 stall instead of 3200!!!!!!!
Damn them to hell. It took forever due to the damn GP and when I finally get it, they gave me the wrong one. I now have a few days to decide between sending it back for the right one, or looking into a T-56...or because of the damn law, look at a 5point.

Guess the 12's will have to wait a little longer

You WILL be slower if you get a M6 vs a vertered auto. You ever dyno your car? That 3k stall might be very well matched up with your torque curve. Call up Jon and ask for a ride... the manual idea will fly out the window very quickly

I guess you wont experience 1.6x's short times with minimal mods. Start looking into a rear also ;)

If quarter mile times are what you are after, then you better stick with the auto. Unless you have a hell of a cam, you better stick with the 3000 stall.

Well the reason I consider changing is because obviously the car isnt a big time drag car, and also look at how many times i go to the track. Maybe a handful a year.

I personally like rowing through the gears. I gives alot of satisfaction the auto just does not have, even if it is slower at the track.

for how many passes?

Its a time bomb either way. I dont want to run slicks and break at the track and face a $300 tow home, when that $$$ can go to half my 9inch. Ran into some cash problems, so the rear is on hold with a deposit

30-40+ passes on a daily driver and its still strong now

its still there, and plenty capable of holding....unless you are crazy enough to turbo a 6.0L and stuff it into a reg cab truck, you should be ok;)
