Helmet, which one

Ok, I need to order a helmet for the 06 season as my old black one (SA90) is out of date. Debbie has been wanting to buy one for me since last Valetines day. She wants me to be safe in the car.

I can't decied tho if I want to get the Simpson Bandit helmet in Metallic Blue which is SA05 specs:

Or the HJC M2000 (motorcycle rating which is legal also) and it would match my 05 champ helmet:

The bandit is only SA2005 I see that I like, cept I keep looking at it and not sure I like how small the visor area is.

Got any other suggestions? Debbie doesn't think I should get a plain white helmet, she thinks it wouldn't look right. So that pretty much rules out Bell helmets.

I've always liked the Bandit, but I do see your point about the visor. Have you tried one by any chance? I've got an HJC and it's OK, but no where near as nice, or probably as safe, as the Bandit.

I agree with the Bandit. I don't particularly care for the white either, but like Mark said, its nicer and probably safer. And you could paint it if you really wanted to, I guess. Match the car.

Yes, I've tried on the HJC its tight and feels like my old helmet. But had more viewing area then my old one.

The 02 is not Shadow gray, its Mineral gray :)

Yes, its legal. It is the exact same as the HJC I posted. Cept it has my name on it.

The price diff is mainly because of the SA2005 ratin vs a Motorcycle M2000 rating. The SA2005 has a fireproof liner, the M does not.

Scratch the Simpson Bandit. The Sa05 ones only come in white or black, to get blue I have to get the Super Bandit. Which I don't like.
