I just recently installed foglights in my car and ran the wire through my firewall and straight to the battery, I would like to run it to my interior fuse box. If anyone knows how to do this, help!:t:

find the post on your interior fuse box that receives 12volts with the ignition on and none with it off, and hook the wire up. that way no dead battery because you forgot to turn them off.

Got a multimeter. Find a switched 12V source and connect it up. Easiest it to buy a 25c splice connector. Lot's of 12 switched sources in the car, anything that comes on only when the key is in the on position.

The constant power needs to be sourced from the battery and no where else. You need to get a relay and find an ignition wire, then have the relay break when the car is off.

If you get constant power from the fuse box you'll cause yourself some troubles later. If you don't increase the fuse size of whatever you steal from it's gonna blow the fuse all the time, and if you put in a bigger fuse you'll burn your car down. So don't do that.

meaning you want someone to do it after they told you all you need to know to do it yourself? this sounds vaguely familiar.

not it at all... i just dont do much wiring and was hoping maybe i could get a little more clear instructions.

start with taking wires and testing if they are live by touching it to your tongue. try that first smart guy and get back to us with the results.
