Hey T-top guys

So my mustangs T-tops leak, this is not fun with our wonderful tallahassee weather... I went to tops of tallahassee cuz i figured that if they could handle installing sunroofs they could take a look at my t-tops. well the lady at the front desk told me that they couldent help me so do u guys know anyplace that would take a look at it? The weatherstripping looks pretty new i don't know what else i could do. i think i need to fix the door hinge so that it lines up right and that might help but i figured i would see what a professional said about it.

If you can lift the door up when it is open, you do probably need to replace the door pins. You can get the pins at either 50resto.com or I think you can get them at Advance Auto in the Help! section. Worth a shot to replace them before replacing weatherstripin.

I had an '85 GT with T-tops, I never bothered locking the doors because with the windows up you could just reach your hand in and unlock/open the doors. Just a little gap there! Oh yeah, it leaked like hell too.

You might get lucky and ford still have the T-Top weather stripping. ALL T-Toped mustangs leak. I have had them. The old weather stripping will look ok but has shrunk up. I agree with Tony about the pins but get the Ford ones the Help ones are soft and will wear out faster.
