What year is your car? About the only year that it's even worth it is on a 1993, and that's even debatable. Why you ask, because the computer will simply compensate for the pressure by changing the injector duty cycle, so trying to increase pressure with an AFPR is a waste of time.

Why do you think you're having fuel pressure problems? Isn't your car basically stock, if so the stock pump and fpr are more than adequate. I'd find out where your real issue is before buying either. If you still think you need an AFPR, I'd recommend the Aeromotive, part number 13106 or 13107 dependent upon the year of your car. About a 150 bucks, and less than 1 hour install time. An AFPR by itself will NOT increase HP.

its not having pressure problems, just really lean (13.9 a/f) and i was told by a few people that by buying an afpr it would solve that.

 well now i'm totally lost cuz when i went to school today all the tachers told me that 13.9 was a little rich but almost perfect and that perfect stoich(a/f) was 14.7 and not to mess with it at all. ?????????????

P.S. I just think its funny that everyone i've talked to have given me different info on this subject

this was the response i got that i liked from ls1tech.com

"Some one needs to pull there head out before giving advise! (not you 96 )

At WOT on a Dynojet we shoot for 12.5-13.0 N/A.

14.7 will get you broken parts! I recently saw the inside of a Cobra engine where the owner was given the same advise you were....I saw it in an Engine shop...or I should say what was left of it! Looked like some one took a blow torch to the piston and cut clean through it and the rings to spray all over the nice rods those engines come with

I would run far FAR away from that advise!"

i think WOT is the key to this. 14.7 is either like idle or normal crusing speed a/f ratio.

AND in refrence to buying an AFPR.......

"That is a halfassed way of doing things not particularly appropriate for cars where doing it in the pcm is so cheap and easy. "

know anywhere i can have the pcm adjusted/programmed? the dealer?
