Car Problems

For those of you that have noticed I ain't been around much lately, mostly because my car has been running for shit and have been to busy to work on it. Long story short, finally hooked it up to the computer today and it appears that my stock fuel injectors have begun to show that they cant handle the load. I'm running very lean and my injector duty cycle is above 85% anytime I'm near 5k. Ordered some 30lb units from Jegs today and I'll be sending my ECM out for a reprogramming too. Hopefully this will cure my current ills and I'll be back around. Did manage to get a street racing ticket the other night - what a load of shit, I wasn't even speeding.

Just dicking around, accelerated at a light in Thomasville, dicking around with a Jeep Cherokee of all things. Immediately let off and was doing under the speed limit when the cop got behind me. The cherokee that I was supposedly racing was 150 yards in front of me when she got pulled over. I'm gonna fight it. I swear to god I'm going to tell the judge that if I was racing the cop wouldn't have been pulling me over 200 yards behind the SUV that I was racing with. Cop was a rookie and I didn't argue at the time because it is possible that I might have had a cocktail or two.. or nine. At the time I figured a streetracing ticket was better than a DUI. 8) Otherwise I would have let the rookie dickhead of a cop hear about his bullshit ticket right then and there.

Ahh, gotcha. Sounds like you have a solid explanation for what happened, hopefully the judge won't be an ass.

Cops will give you a racing ticket for leaving the line too fast. I got mine for a Jeep Cherokee trying to keep up with me on Monroe while I was on my way to Albertsons, which was at the next light. Didn't spin the wheels, didn't bark second, never went above the speed limit.
