My Son took his GT to FFW at Orlando's Speedworld this past weekend and had VMP Tuning Dynotune it. The numbers for the GT were low due to his 4.56 gears and Justin from VMP said he would send me the Dyno sheet via email which he hasn't done yet. The numbers were in the 230's for hp and 260's for torque the best I remember, which those numbers are only up a few from the stock initial Dyno runs that were made.
He had the Diablosport Predator installed before and I flashed the GT back to stock from that tune before it went on the Dyno since Justin from VMP wanted that done before hand. I wish we could have had a run first though just to compare since I think the Predator had an edge on the SCT for HP and TQ.
In the baseline runs with Factory stock ECU settings it was running a little rich at 11.9-12.0 A/F ratio. Even though I don't think it give him any more HP or TQ over the Predator it's just good to know the Mustang has the right A/F ratio, which ended up about 12.9 across the whole RPM range.
It really would have been nice to have just kept the Predator but Justin didn't tune to them, just the SCT. The SCT Flash Tuner and the tune was $499 all together so that is not a bad deal since the Flash Tuner retail lists for near that price.
Here's a picture of the Dynorun:

Damn, wish I would of known you were there. And no, the Predator does not have an edge on the SCT :) Get Justin to send you the dyno file also, then you can get winpep from dynojet.com and view it on the computer.

does he have full exhuast? I put down 248HP and 283 TQ with just long tubes, o/r x-pipe, and intake with 3.73's gear. Stock tune and no chips or tuner.

Yeah, I wanted to look you up while were there but with the 5 hour drive down, the Dynotune, looking at what Vendors we could, then a little of the racing which I did see you make a run, then leaving for the 5 hour drive back, didn't leave time for me to come and look you up. We also didn't get a chance to see the show cars because of the time. Next time I'm going for 2 days! :D
Thanks Tony for the tip on winpep, I got the download and in the meantime Justin sent the files so here is a "results" picture of the before and after dyno run.

Just an OR X-pipe and SLP LM1 catback for now.

Yep, he's at Champion, and as I hate to speak for him . . . . he does like to accelerate :joystick: !! I can't say what'll happen at the stop light ? . . . . :bryant: .

well mention to him that i work across the street at mazda. and if he would like some friendly action, there would be a couple of takers over here.
edit: whats up with the air/fuel?? i know its in the vicinity of being right, but a good tuner should be able smooth it out.

I'm almost certain I was riding the 4wheeler past while they were tuning his car. It's pretty loud.
Out of curiosity, why 4.56's? That's a lot of gear for a 2v.

Maybe we can talk him into to going up to Valdosta's Track for some very friendly "handicaped" action (since he's not done too much to his Mustang)  .
Yea, I thought the same when I got the file, the one Justin showed me at the time of tune had the graph scrunched down so it looked as though it was a nice straight line similar to this but even straighter:

and Justin told me it was 12.9 across the board???

Haven't weighted it and haven't ran it through the 1/4 mile as yet.

Yes, it's loud, it makes me smile every time I hear it, the short story on the 4.56's is: I had them in my Mach1 with the intention of using up the RPM's in the 1/4 mile but after he drove mine he liked them so much they ended up under his GT.

yeah, that is too much gear for a stock cam/head 2v.
i like his wheels, i saw them when he had it parked behind our pit

Ummm too much? If drag'n it in the 1/4 with 25" tall tires, yea, driving it, nope, it's a blast to drive with those gears. :kinson:

im sure it is, but the car doesnt make much power up top(just like every other 2v) so its kind of a waste of gear. Of course i am biased because my mentality is 1/4 based/

Yep, I am/was the same way, but if a set of 28" tall slicks are stuck on, then we're back in the 1/4 mile game.
