the ole 89 has once again been sold...

Just got a call from a friend. The 89 ( http://www.blownstangs.com/cars/89launchsmall.jpg ) has been sold again. Frank and Gina bought it off of my ex-wife. With a almost dead AOD tranny and stock 302. Frank and Gina put chrome cobra r wheels on it, put a cervini's 2.5" cowl hood on it, replaced the AOD with a T5 and swap'd out the 302 for a less mileage 302. Also they painted the car solid black and cut out the $550 6-pt rollbar.

They had it for sale on The Car Lot (Mustang Alley). Someone traded in a Vert for it today. Its up getting a new alternator before the new owner takes it.

Just heard it from a few different people over time. Including from Frank and Gina when they came out to the Tennessee spot a couple times. And then when she was looking for a hood latch. A tree limb fell on the cowl hood and cracked it. So they replaced it and repainted the car.
