I need to borrow/aquire/rent an engine lift for a few days. Anyone got one or know where I can get one?

I have to remove my new block from Steven's car and then take the block out of my car.

Do any auto part places rent them? Also anyone know if they rent engine stands?

Equipment rental places rent them, like someplace that rents pressure washers, ditch diggers etc. I rented one back home that had pneumatic tires and you just hooked it to your tow hitch, worked fine.

quick question--why is steven's motor coming out? Travis is going to use Steven's block to put all the new stuff on. Correct me if I'm wrong Travis.

Jew got it mang.

I bought Steven's block since it's in way better condition than mine. Now I have to swap oil pumps, balancers and cam.

Do it travis the project needs to startI don't want to get the engine lift anytime soon. I don't want to rent the lift twice. So as soon as I get ALL the parts THEN I'll rent the lift.

you can actually but one for about $100 - $150 from advance or pepboys, i dunno what renting one costs but if its more than half of that i would concider buying one. and i actually saw one at a pawn shop for $80 not too long ago. they usually have some pretty sweet tools at those places, especially Folmar on north monroe.

Better check the last 2 cylinders for compression or even scoring on the cylinders. you know--the ones that didn't fire for a couple of months.
