when they first made that car last year, they took it to Moroso and it did run some 12.0's. A friend of mine was there and actually ran against it one pass.

It's not too bad, but they coulda done without some of the "styling" stuff. I saw the car in person on that faithful day i took the picture that has changed the mustang internet boards forever.

steeda and saleen need to come up with something to beat the cobra. no matter how much they tack-up the price, and add limited bolt-ons... they are still a 4.6 2V. there are PLENTY of other mod motors out there that the tuners can have fun with... (ex. 5.4 2&4V, 6.8V10 2V...5.8V10 4V)

i just see no desire or exclusivity in a 2V tuner car that is double the price of my cobra that has solid engineering Vs. bolt-on GT parts.

Im not bashing GT's AT ALL, but a tuner of that caliber should be more than a bolt-on and graphics package..

mighty big talk seeing as how the 99 cobra was one of the biggest disasters Ford ever dealt with.

the "engineering" isn't all that high and greatful. It's the same 4.6 liters, the same rotating assembly, except it has twice the number of valves on the cylinder heads.

i wouldn't call steeda a high "caliber" tuner. They sell bolt-ons and slap superchargers on mustangs, because it's the easiest and best money producing thing on the mustang market.
