We got out of school on friday to go the houston grand prix. On friday they had atlantic series qualifying, champ car practice, and an american le mans series race under the lights. We got free tickets and pit passes through school and I had a blast. I took some pictures so i could show everyone. Enjoy!!!

in the le mans race, the #3 and #4 corvette C6R's took 1st and 2nd in the GT1 class, totally destroying the Aston Martin DBR9's. The Audi R8 was the Prototype1 and over all winner, while both Corvette C6R's took 2nd and 3rd overall as well.

And the weight spread between the Astons and Vettes will grow despite the Astons having the fastest lap times.

the R8 is pretty bad ass and is the quietest car of the whole bunch
