Found out today that a fully loaded PS3 will be $600 , and a "regular" one will be $500. WTF Sony!? It has the Blu Ray drive, but still, $200 premium over the 360 isn't worth it.

Add to that the rumor that the READ time is 3x the write time for main memory... it will be DOA and Wii will steal the show!

Considering game machine manufacturers take a hit on every unit to the tune of several hundred dollars, it could be worse, eh?

The hardware alone is worth the money, that drive is worth about $1000 if you were to go out and buy it. However, I'm going to stick with my 360, Halo 3 comes out 2007 :clap:

Avoid taking to heart what people at stores like gamestop tell you. I had a guy tell me splinter cell was coming out in november (he said it like a smartass) then I looked at his sheet and calmly said "it says september" and then he just said "oh". He stood corrected by the employees that worked for him and me about 12 times in 45 minutes.
