For those who haven't seen it (Matt/Greg :)).

Byron forgot to remove the PIP filter from the EEC, so at 6300. It was like hitting a rev limiter. On each shift I would hit it. And then it hit the limiter 3 times before the traps (3.73s and 26" slicks, had to turn 6800 each gear, as to not to run outta gear).
2 weeks prior, the tranny had let go. Oiling down the under side of the car. Right before that weekend, I put Borla muffs on with no turn downs. So when it was on the rev limiter threw the traps, it backfired. Catching the oil on fire. It went out pretty fast, but toasted a few things, nothing major tho. The safety crew tried to run me down on the return road, cause I had no clue that it had been on fire. I went back to the pits and smelled something burning. Pulled into my spot, and got out. Said I smelled something burning as everyone watching came running over cause they saw the fire...oops :)
