The opti install has now turned into a cam - swap install. Many thanks to Bo and Brian who did more work on it than I did. Still haven't got the crank hub off yet but hopefully I'll get it first thing tomorrow.

I think I'm going to go with the GM 847 Cam

Specs
12370847 Hydraulic Roller Design
This hydraulic roller design contains eccentric for mechanical fuel pump. It is for off-road use only. The duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 234/242; and maximum lift with 1.5:1 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 539/558. Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 112 degrees.

And then this spring kit from Crane

I have been looking around for parts myself:D and Combination motorsports has some badass springs that can handle up to .600" lift for only $90. I dunno anything about the Cranes so they might be better, who knows. Another thing about the springs, is there any was for you to find out what springs they are because its possible that when Extreme did the work on your heads, they might have upgraded the springs and ported for the new springs, Does that make any sence? Also, heres (http://www.streetillusionsracing.com/Install/Cam/hubmarks.jpg) a pic of something that might help with getting that hub off. He is using a 1/4" in the hole of the crank which is small enough where it doesnt mess up the threads. This guy said just used the extension and the 3 prong puller and it should pop off. Having it soak in the liquid wrench should help some too. Also in the pic, look how long the cam dowel pin is. I definatly think that was your problem. Here (http://www.streetillusionsracing.com/Install/Cam/cam.htm) is the page of an entire cam install with lots of pics and tips incase you havent seen it. I look at it pretty carefully and its really helpful. Anyways, Ill give you a call tomorrow when I get outta work and if Im not doing anything with Jen, Ill head over. Good luck on it tomorrow.

What do you mean. Cam dowel looks just like mine.... NOT. I'll try the puller set up tomorrow. Yeah there are definitely springs that will go in with. Thanks again Bo, I owe you and Brian big time.

Sleeper: Yes I am talking about a daily driver and I know what your saying. As long as the bitch will idle and I can get the tune right I'm hoping that it would be fun.

Oh and for you Andy..... EAT ME. :D You're welcome any time. Give me a call.
