the probe i just bought needs some minor work. around $400 in parts. expensive parts. and the list keeps growin. the check engine light was on so i checked it. both of my variable resonant intake solenoids are bad along with my coolant temp sensor. all of these parts are obsolete from the dealer. anyone know where i can get these items new? cause its lookin like it'll be the junkyard for me.

you could probably get the temp sensor from auto zone or advanced, not sure about the others, though.

im not going to lie, its a weird car to buy parts for, i glance through stuff like that when im workin at advance, and since its a mazda motor, the parts are pretty expensive da pick 'n pull sounds like a good place to start

the parts will definitely be cheaper aftermarket--but if there is anything dealer specific, let me know and i'll ask our parts dept here at mazda

I told you in another thread if you would listen that you can get those easily at a junkyard. If you can't be creative and fix your own shit with old parts you need to get rid of the probe they are not beginners cars.

yeah i work on the one at cap. cir. ne. and yeah i came in today when you were there. nice car slmd. turbonium, im not a first timer. ive rebuilt engines before. i would just rather have new parts that i know will last awhile appose to some used one that might last a week or a month. the only part im a begginer to is vris(which i now know quite a bit about). thank you for your concern though:heather20

Well the shitty thing about getting new parts for a probe is that in 01 they stopped carrying/making parts for them.
