ok, my compressor kicks on and off constantly... any good places to get it looked at or fixed, i dont know anything about a/c...
"Anyone, anyone?"
Is your air still cold? Cycling like you're describing is often a signal that you are out of or running low on freon. Might be time for a recharge?

i am with ryan, got to AC for gf, tat shit will not fly with the ladies.
Sounds like you've got a leak. Have someone evacuate the system, replace the o-rings at the connectors, and then recharge the system. Make sure that the system is well-oiled, too! Save yourself about a grand by having someone do this early for about $200 before it gets ugly.
As expected, I can only offer advice as to what happens to Fords, so here's what happens to a Mustang showing those same symptoms:
If you repeatedly recharge the system without adding oil, you'll eventually have leaked it all out and the compressor will die. This will toast the seal inside the compressor, causing the seal to disintigrate into a greasy, fibrous mess that will have contaminated the entire system. At that point, you have only the options of either replacement of most (if not all) of the really expensive components, or you can drive hot with the windows down. Purging or cleaning some of the components doesn't work because the condensor and the evaporator can't be flushed.
Hope it ends up being cheap for ya!;)

Yea, what JD said. Look for oily residue on your A/C lines and compressor. I would bet that the front seal in the compressor is where the leak is at. Don't try to have anyone replace the front seal, it will not hold very long. The low pressure swithch is causing the short cycling of the compressor because the system is low. If it was empty, it would not come on at all. My suggestion would be to throw some r134a stop leak and dye in there and a can of oil charge. Will allow the shop you take it to to more accurately diagnose the leak.
