I have a wrecked 2001 chevy truck with the 6.0 vortec and was wondering how big a job to install it in the 95 V-6 firebird and what kinda hp does it make

Should be the same as installing an LS1 from what I understand you would need an LS1 intake, computer and mounts plus some other misc. shit.

my old bosses work truck had a 6.0 in it, it had some dang good torque and the horse power seemed decent as well but I don't know exact #'s tho

they have great numbers, especially if you open up the intake and exhaust. The 4l60e wont last long behind it though, using a 4l80e from the truck would be best, but also a bit more work.

ok then, im not sure what it takes to do the swap on an fbody, i've seen lots of threads about it over on ls1tech though.
Whats the interior like on the truck? im looking for a console and front seats.

The swap will be pretty involved. Lots of parts will need to be changed over. Here are some write-ups to start ya off. If you decide you to sell the motor... let me know.

3 days from owning it ,the insurance company called apparently he does have insurance, oh well storage is pretty high so i'll get paid anyway

they owe me over a thousand dollars and don't look like they are gonna pick it up . a couple people here were interstied in it , i believe i'll sell it

hit tree on passenger side door and fender , had 63000 miles i sold it for $1200.00
