The place where I was getting my Transmission done for the GN, finished building the tranny up, T-Brake and all. Unfortunatly the place that was going to send my torque converter took longer than expected and my trannsmission guy is going into surgery and had to close down his shop for a while. I'm going to get the car towed up here from Ocala and need a transmission place to install the torque converter and maybe the transmission(don't know if they put it in or not). What are some good places that do quality work in town, I know its not any critical tranny work, but I don't like to take any chances.

Thanks alot guys.

Paul at Nationwide out Hwy 27 north by Lake Jackson

The AOD he built for my car held up to 500+ rwhp for over 2 years and MANY MANY passes and daily driving.

Hey Tony, what do you think a rebuild for a 700R4 would set me back with all of the goodies from Paul? Does he do all of that stuff on the side or does he go through Nationwide? Im looking for a good rebuild soon and was planning on going to him:D

He will do it either way, threw the shop or on the side. As to cost, I dunno :) You'd have to ask him. Threw the shop will be more $$ for sure tho.

Jon and I went to try and talk to Paul at the other nationwide over the summer, to weld our subframe connectors. We got the impression that he was their little work monkey because we could never talk to him. lol

Paul normally doesn't like talking to people he doesn't know. I need to get up there and talk to him. Let him know who y'all are. I'd call, but he doesn't ever want to get on the phone.

HEY TONY WAIT!!!
Some new guy bought out Paul and Richard and they moved shop over to Quincy. The new shop is Quincy Transmission and the power was just cut on today. The shop is located at the old Big 10 tires store. Hwy 90 west three miles past Thomas Motor cars on the left.
